Parks, Arts, Recreation, Culture and Conservation (PARCC) Plan
We’re Planning the Future of Redmond’s Parks!
The City of Redmond is updating the Parks, Arts, Recreation, Culture, and Conservation (PARCC) Plan.
This plan guides managing and enhancing our parks, playgrounds, community centers, forests, and trails. It also informs future programs, activities, and events. Your feedback will help make sure parks and recreational programs meet the needs of our growing and diverse community.

Potential Off-Leash Dog Areas in Downtown
The City of Redmond is investigating the addition of a pop-up or demonstration off-leash dog area in Downtown at one of four places:
- Adjacent to Redmond Central Connector Trail
- Portion of Anderson Park
- Portion of Dudley Carter Park
- Portion of Luke McRedmond/Riverpark
Using the map, add your thoughts about using existing parks and open space in the Downtown for this purpose. A set of questions will pop up with the pin, and there is an opportunity to leave your comments at the end. Dog owners and non-dog owners are welcome to give their feedback.
To note:
- Off-leash areas would be fenced
- Off-leash areas would be temporary to evaluate their operation (6 months)
- Off-leash areas would have similar rules to other parks regarding noise, hours of operation, etc.
- Depending on the site, the off-leash area would be either grass or wood chips.
