Redmond’s Utilities—Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, and Solid Waste—provide essential City services that maintain Redmond’s infrastructure, protect our natural environment, and respond to customer service needs. Together, the Utilities deliver clean drinking water, provide reliable wastewater and waste management, and protect and restore local lakes, creeks, and the Sammamish River to Redmond.

In 2019, the City published a draft Utilities Strategic Framework. It described a shared Mission, Objectives, and key Strategies to guide the Utilities’ work to 2050. The Utilities continue to build out this plan and seek the community’s input on next steps needed to guide this work.

Our Mission: City of Redmond’s Utilities provide the Redmond community with reliable, safe, and resilient utility services that protect and sustain our natural environment and quality of life.
