Lime Electric Scooter Share Pilot Program

The City of Redmond has permitted the private electric scooter share company, Lime, to operate in the City on a trial basis. The one-year pilot program with Lime is from July 30, 2019, through July 29, 2020.

The City recruited feedback on the pilot program and 466 individuals responded to a questionnaire that closed on December 8, 2019. The results of that questionnaire are highlighted in a PowerPoint presentation given to Redmond City Council on March 10, 2020. The presentation is available in the Document Library on this project page.

Following the evaluation and Council Study Session, the City Council directed staff to implement recommended changes to the program and to continue piloting scooter share for a second year.
