The City of Redmond is reviewing the current outdoor dining options. In 2020, the City authorized businesses to construct on-street and sidewalk expanded dining facilities in response to pandemic-related restrictions on indoor business operations. The ordinance that authorized these temporary facilities has now expired.

The City welcomes community input on outdoor dining options as it explores whether to accommodate permanent expansions of outdoor dining, and in what form.

  • Thank you to the community for feedback provided during this summer. Staff is reviewing this information and will be making recommendations to the outdoor dining program. We anticipate sharing the update here in October.
