Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP) 2025

Since its adoption in 2020, the Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP) has guided city efforts to foster a more sustainable and thriving Redmond. We’ve accomplished a lot together in that time – from the launch of the Energy Smart Eastside heat pump program and historic investments in clean transportation solutions, to the opening of the all-electric Redmond Senior and Community Center – it’s been a busy four years!

We've seen firsthand the important role the ESAP plays in aligning City action with our climate and sustainability commitments. That’s why, in the coming year, the City will be refreshing the ESAP to keep it relevant and actionable. With your help, we’ll be creating an updated plan that integrates the latest science, technologies, and policies to help us progress toward our goals.
