Community Shared Feedback on How to Improve the City's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Efforts
The City of Redmond is committed to creating a Redmond in which all residents can fully and effectively access city services, influence city policy and direction, and feel a sense of belonging and safety. For this reason, the City is conducting a community assessment to learn how to most equitably serve and create opportunities for those who live, work, and play in Redmond. The community provided feedback throughout a community involvement period between July 5 – Sept. 15 by participating in four listening sessions offered in July, August, and September and responding to an online questionnaire. This feedback will advise the assessment which will result in a roadmap and a three-year strategic plan to create more equitable and inclusive policies, programs, and overall culture.
