How can we build a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community?

Did you know that the City invests in programs that support wellbeing for all of our community, such as counseling, job support, food assistance, and healthcare? Helping ensure that residents have access to needed resources is a core role of the City’s Human Services team.

First adopted in 2009 and updated in 2016, it’s time to revisit the plan. Much has changed in Redmond, with even more change on the horizon. The new strategic plan will reflect the Redmond community’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Following a robust community engagement process, the Human Services team is excited to share its first draft of the Human Services Strategic Plan. The recommended values and strategies are developed based on what we heard from you, community leaders, and non-profit partners. Please take a moment to review the draft plan and provide your feedback on the questionnaire on what the City should prioritize over the next five years. Your input will help us build a solid foundation so that people of all ages can thrive.
