Summer Engagement Updates

Do you want to take part in climate action? Join the City's Sustainability Team and Redmond community this summer for a variety of discussions and events centered around environmental sustainability. Mark your calendars, invite your pals, and get ready for a sustainable summer!

June

June 14, CHIME Music Festival - Visit our Environmental Sustainability booth at Redmond's CHIME Festival. We will be there the full day, enjoying music from the performers and chatting with residents about ways to take climate action.
June 23rd, Seattle Sounders Watch Party - Join us at Redmond Town Center to watch the Seattle Sounders take on Paris-Saint Germain! We will be at the environmental sustainability booth where you can learn the latest news about the ESAP update and join us in taking climate action.
June 24th, Climate Trivia Night - We are co-hosting a Climate Trivia Night with Flatstick Pub! The first round of trivia begins at 6pm, and we will have a second round at 7pm. Form a team and come test your climate knowledge for a chance to win a gift card!
June 26th, Meet & Green - We are hosting our monthly "Meet and Green" office hours on June 26 from 3:30-5:00 pm at the Redmond Library. Stop by to meet the team, ask questions, and join your community in taking climate action.

July

July 16, Community Workshop - Make your voice heard at our Community Workshop at the Redmond Senior & Community Center on July 16, from 6-8pm. We will be diving deeper into the ESAP update to hear your feedback and find out what matters most to our community. Light refreshments and childcare will be provided. Stay tuned for the registration link!
July 12, Derby Days - The City's Sustainability Team will be celebrating Derby Days by hosting an Environmental Sustainability booth at the event. Visit us anytime from 11am-6pm to take a climate pledge and snap a pic at our photobooth! We will be presenting the latest ESAP updates and promoting ways to take climate action within Redmond.

Rockin on the River Series - Find us at Redmond's Rockin' on the River concerts throughout August! Enjoy live music, sun, and visit our Environmental Sustainability booth where you can learn about city programs, take a climate pledge, and snap a rockin' photo at our photobooth!
Aug 23, Community Picnic - The City's Sustainability Team is hosting a picnic on August 23rd to thank our Redmond community for all of your input, feedback, and participation toward the ESAP refresh! We are excited to present how community feedback we've heard throughout 2025 was integrated into the new plan, and to enjoy some ice cream and sun with all of you!
