What is a Pop-Up Dog Park?
A pop-up dog park is a temporary, off-leash area for dogs. By running a pop-up dog park, City staff will be better equipped to understand the needs and impacts of this type of facility before developing a permanent site.
Where can I park?
The park has 17 parking spaces and 2 ADA accessible spaces. The location is also served by Metro Transit routes 221 and 250 (yes! Dogs on leash can ride the bus). Street parking and the nearby Redmond Central Connector are also a short walk away. Please follow all posted rules and time limits.
Do I need to pick up after my pet?
Yes! The city will provide dog waste bags and trash cans, but it is the responsibility of the owner to clean up and properly dispose of their dog's waste.
Where can I give feedback on the Pop-Up Dog Park?
Community feedback and evaluation of the pop-up dog park will help us plan for future facilities. Please take the online questionnaire at LetsConnectRedmond.com and let us know what you think about off-leash dog areas in Redmond!
Will the dogs destroy the lawn?
We anticipate the pop-up dog park will have impacts on the existing turf. After the pop-up dog area is de-commissioned in fall, staff will evaluate the impacts and work to restore the turf as needed.
Can I volunteer to help maintain the dog park?
